BANGKOK – The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) has named Mr Thongchai Sidama as acting president, replacing Mr Akapol Sorasuchart who will be leaving at the end of March.

The Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) recently unveiled a new branding campaign and a new tagline ‘Malaysia – Asia’s Business Events Hub’ to communicate Malaysia’s proposition as a gateway to Asia for meetings.
 
At the launch event, guests were taken into a time travel to the era of the Malacca Sultanate where a mock set-up of a thriving spice market was enacted with guests bargaining for a variety of goods with Arab, Chinese and Indian traders using a specially created currency. The unique incentive event of a spice market was held at the Central Market Kuala Lumpur, an offsite venue for conference groups.
